Started with my pupil passing her test 1st time - always a good thing. Then on to the golf.

Snowing again - but not laying so I set forth. Quite windy too and about as cold as i can ever remember playing golf in. But a front 9 of 35 (level par, 2 birdies, 2 bogeys) and 23 points warmed me up no end.
Wanted to keep things going so straight to the 10th rather than recover some feeling in the extremities by getting a hot choccy at the clubhouse. Got to the 15th tee level par for the round. And feeling good.

Then the wind got up and started gusting and the snow became horizontal and I bogeyed the last 4 holes - bit miffed but still a 74 for 42 points and my best round at my new club. Main stats - Fairways hit - 67%, GIR - 28%, putts - 27, birdie conversions - 40%, par scrambles 54%, driving distance ave 237 yards.

All in all a good day at the office. Feeling quite smug now.

That's some good shootin' Imurg - I imagine AP can play pretty long with the cold weather and breeze up. Sub 70 in the Summer then :)

At least 4 or the par 4's were unreachable in 2, even for me - and I can lash it a long way when I want to. 18th was driver, 4 wood, wedge and its only 420 yards!

Now all you have to do is the same with the new irons. Good shooting though and I can't see bro getting close to that for a while

I would tend to agree, although he has to get cut soon

well Done Bro, credit where due
