Hi guys, a couple of years ago me and a friend were passing Nottingham and naively thought we would play a round of golf. We were both rubbish and neither of us had broken 100 (I think I had been on a course twice, ever).

We played a really nice parkland course, which has an elevated first tee (dogleg left I believe). I have a photo somewhere of the first tee, but I'll have to dig it out.

Basically, it would be nice to play there again, as I quit after 12 odd holes and would like to go back, but I'm not sure of the course name. I do have a feeling it might have been Wollaton Park from the pictures of the clubhouse, but I can't be sure. Any clarification would be great.

Hi there!

How elevated was the 1st tee? I played at Ramsdale (north Nottingham) a few weeks ago and that had a slightly raised tee off area at the 1st with a dogleg left. The back nine was also quite hilly.

Hi guys. It's not Trent Lock. I looked on the overview for coxmoor and it's certainly not a dogleg left on the first hole.

Thanks though. I will try and get a photo of the first tee and perhaps somebody will identify it.
