Do you have a club that you thought you would never like, use or get on with?.

I am using a Nike square headed driver that's surprised me completely.
First of all I hate the look of square heads, but for this club I just never
see it as square.
It seems to suit the eye and that's come as a big surprise.

I had a Callaway FT-iQ going back some... I wish I still had it in a way. I did not care about the shape and only sold it as it was a little short but very accurate.. I would take that now thanks!

Never ever imagined id have a ...

White headed driver . was waiting to try the new Titleist 913 and he gave me a few to try , tried the TM Rbz stage 2 ,

its a flipping easy peasy hit cannon it is , BOOOOM into the bag you go you beauty

I certainly do. My Titleist 910H 19° hybrid.

I don't like hybrids, I prefer to hit a long iron.

Seeing as Mizuno don't do a 2 iron for the MP63 line, I got one of the above.

So easy to hit, it's almost cheating.

Surprisingly good clubs! Point and shoot!

Only moved it on when the slightly longer, slightly more versatile Rescue Mid came back and wasn't sell-able!

Never really bought/tried clubs I hadn't thought I wouldn't get on with - why would I? Had a few that haven't worked out for various reasons - ego being a common one! Worse; had a few that I've moved on that I knew I'd regret selling!

I never thought I'd sell my Titleist D2 910 driver because a second hand Ping G15 was much easier to hit and went every bit as far

Ditto my TM R11s. Another one is my 10+ years old MacGregor Eye o matic 3 wood which still goes like ....off a shovel.

My beloved MD golf Seve Icon sand wedge. It is an ugly brute but it is so so effective out of the sand and it makes a great 60 degree lob wedge too. Everyone that has seen it cannot believe it but it gets me out of bunkers every time and is great for lobbing over one too

You weren't kidding about the looks!

I had a spider putter when they first came out courtesy of GM. Looked like a branding iron or school metalwork project but produced such a sweet roll. Got the itsy bitsy cousin 18 months later but then decided to work on it and go back to a conventional blade

Wow that is ugly haha!

Mine are probably my MD norman drew wedges. Heard really good things about them but thought surely they can't be that good for 40 quid each. Turns out they are quality for the money, nice shape and real good spin.

I only buy pretty clubs. Titleist 910 driver and three wood. Ping i20 hybrids, and Mizuno irons. If it doesn't look right, it doesn't go in the bag. Not that keen on playing with people with ugly clubs either, like Ping G irons, white drivers, and branding iron putters.

I have a 10 degree Callaway FTiZ driver in the attic that helped me straighten out my drives when I was having swing issues.

According to Callaway the 10 degree is neutral faced however at address the big triangular face looks that closed that you could be forgiven for thinking it will drive balls around a corner. It might be ugly but it does work.

My Nike Sumo² 2R & 4R hybrids. Not at all a fan of the square heads, but haven't found any to better them..... despite trying really hard over the last couple of years....
