New to the forum, and thought I'd say hi, now that i've posted my real question for joining up.

What I would like to know though. Are there any complete novices on here? or are you all budding professionals (well quite good anyway ;))

I've been playing off and on for a number of years, but now decided to start getting into it a bit more, and trying to actually improve. 2 of my brothers are in the same situation, and 2 nephews just starting out. Then my mrs got some bats n balls for her birthday/christmas this year.

Going to be a right family competition

Hi and welcome along mate. You will find a whole range of golfers on here mate. From complete novices to professionals.

Where do you play at the moment?

Midnight ....

And a big, gay, hello from me too darling

We all talk to a handicap of +9 & play to anything from 2 (i think) to 28 but boy do we have some craic telling each other about the few good shots , you wont be long sorting out who is who on here , welcome along & enjoy

Welcome to the site. If want any info on the latest wacky ideas regarding the golf swing like Stack and Tilt or the new ball flight laws ask our resident forumer for the latest golf swing sensation ask Justone;). For professional advice see Bobmac as he is our resident golf pro. Ethan is pretty clued up on golf kit.

If you want a good natter over golf matters, just sound off on something that is annoying about the game, or an argumentative narrow minded self opinion then the rest of us can help you out just perfectly....................

Welcome to our forum........

Thanks all for the welcomes

I play in Bishop Auckland or around Consett in County Durham, Or around Scarborough when I visit family.

I'll serpently be asking lots of tips, but whats this tilt n stuff? and the new ball flight rules? I hit a ball, it moves a few feet, i get a smaller stick and use that 8 or 9 times getting closer to the short grass, sometimes via the long grass, then eventually I put it in the hole.

It should take about 3 hours yes?...... per hole :one:

Let's cut to the chase - how far do you drive the ball??

Anything less than 350 yards uphill into a 40mph wind and you can jog on.... :(

Only joking!!

Welcome big boy!!
