The one that suits your swing is probably the best idea. Have a word with your club pro as he will be the best person to speak to if you have had any lessons with him and he knows your swing.

I have the RIP Phenom in my driver, 3 and 5 wood. It's fairly low launching for my swing and doesn't balloon. The other one I would try is the diamana blueboard... Both are stock shafts and not too expensive... If your willing to splash the cash the Oban Devotion Ethan has in his driver is supposed to be a beauty!

I've got the phenom extra stiff shaft for the 913 I ordered on Boxing Day. Do you get on with the stiff version ok? I'm glad it's low launching as that's why I got it. I wasn't able to try one out as no golf stores local to me had an extra stiff in stock but my swing speed suggests it should be extra stiff, I'll see when it arrives I guess
Unanswerable without details on swing speed, spin rates, angle of attack etc. As others have said whatever suits your swing. Ask a pro or club fitter and try and have a go on a launch monitor and see what the numbers look like

Yep.... Really like it, very responsive. Any mi***** are certainly no fault of the club or shaft! It feels responsive and controllable. I just need to get a decent swing now
