Just ordered one after trying it at a range, amazing club, gone for 17* with ahina shaft in stiff. ended up ordering off snainton golf, but was going to buy from the shop i tried it at, but one of the guys who was checking the price as i said i could get it cheaper, said to match it at one sites price anyway cos they have to charge me £10 for the headcover, luckily they didnt have any of the spec i wanted in so walked away, was pretty disgusted by it to be honest.

sorry just thought i would share :)

£10 for the headcover... they should always come as standard imho, its as bad as titleist not supplying the wrenches for adjustable clubs. takes the proverbial.

Glad you liked it though, they do appear to be the dogs danglies

i know i would at least expect the headcover free, but i have paid for the wrench as i want to mess about with it and make sure i set it to the right setting

Pretty poor if you ask me, not including the wrench in the fairways or hybrid. I've got the driver as well so I already had one but what's the point of an adjustable club that you can't adjust until you pay an extra £X...

I was just using a wrench from my tool box but when I checked with my buddy's wrench I had not tightened it up enough.

I have a 19* coming tomorrow that I will be using at 18.25(at a guess).

Can't wait!!!

Cos you aint supposed to mess about with it.....

is this a worldwide policy from Titleist regarding the h/c's and wrench or even just the wrench?

nope but most retailers try and charge for headcovers, go to direct golf, they're the same, but you can convince them that they should give it you for free as they do on their site

or just go somewhere else after telling them to shove it. I have never heard of any retailer trying to charge for a headcover

Never paid for a head cover and wouldn't part with my cash if I was aked to. As for not supplying the wrench on adjustable clubs without an extrra fee is a major mickey take. Again I'd be asking the retailer to chuck it in or watch £300 of driver sale walk out the door. Knowing as I do now what the trade price on an R11 is there is more than enough room to absorb the hit and still make a tidy profit. Highway robbery for the 21st century if you ask me

Sometimes retailers try it on. Personally, I'd find it a bridge too far. I would tell them to shove it too.

Titleist provide the headcover with the club and does not charge separately for it. The shop is taking the proverbial.

The wrench is included with the driver but not the fairway or hybrid. The idea is that your pro sets up the club for you and you shouldn't be messing around too much with it.

Kinda defeats the object of it being adjustable. If they don't really want you messing with it then why not just make them up to your fitting spec and lose the adjustable feature..?

and because they didnt have it in stock, the guy was going to take the shaft i wanted out of the 19* not realising it would be shorter, i was shocked.
