9 hole PB tonight

Shot 38 gross, par 35. With two lipped out putts and 3 off the tee on the par 5, hit the green in two with my provisional ball and saved a bogey.
Very happy with that evening's work.



Not bad for a 17 handicap.

Joined up with a 3 ball on the 7th, one a former club captain asked me if i'd thought about playing first team golf - then I told him my handicap... Haha!

Now to do it in a medal.

Nice when it happens buddy, it amazes me how well people play when having a quick bounce game with no pressure , well played that man.

Had exactly the same monday, just stretching the legs and having a walk, 37 gross on a par 36

Had my 9-hole PB this evening too....does it count though on a par 3?! Managed to go round in level par Hit some pretty ropey tee shots but my green-side chips and putting saved me. Could have been one under if it wasn't for a wayward tee shot into some thick rough?

You know when luck is on your side when you thin a tee shot which rolls from the tee to about 1' from the pin, lol!
