Rumour has it the next casulty on the premiership mangerial merrygoaround is Alan Pardew 1 year into an 8 year contract thats a tasty pay off Sports Direct will be coughing up.

Perhaps Dunlop gear will be going up in price!

Shocker of a season considering the number of players he's brought in. But they were never going to repeat last years feat, if reports are to be believed its down to a massive language barrier in the dressing room and your captain & best defender showing outward interest to leave doesn't help.

Got some quality players on Cabaye & Tiote but the football isn't inspiring from the Geordies and I'd happily see them relegated nothing against the team or 99.9% of their fans, Ashley or Pardew it's simply because the ex Mrs Fader is a Geordie and massive Magpies fan and I've never forgiven her for moving my kids to bloody Chester so the thought of her in tears at being relegated makes me smile a warm fuzzy smile! I'm all heart you see

As for Dunlop got to say saw some of those new NZ9 forged irons and wedges on Sunday, guy I played with at my old mans club had them and I was impressed mind you I also liked his BackStryke putter so shows what my tastes are like!

It wouldn't surprise me, yet there is still a lot of love for him in Newcastle.

Personally, I'm not fussed. I think his tactics this season have been shocking and only having 1 striker who couldn't hit a barn door is bloody stupid. The loyal fans and pardew are blaming injuries but I haven't seen one bad teamsheet, just a lack of performance from our supposedly big players. Tiote and Cabaye just haven't put in a top performance this season

The defence haven't done too bad considering the lack of help from the 5 man midfield. Every time they clear the ball, it comes straight back and they have been under huge pressure all season. I'm surprised they have only let I the number they have

We need 2 central defenders and at least 2 good strikers this closed season, possibly even midfielders if our current stack are to have another season like this one

Apparently there is a maximum limit set out in the contract saying that Pardew can only be paid a certain amount if he is sacked so Mike Ashley's exposure will be limited there I reckon. 8 year deal was barmy though especially for a manager with such an inconsistent managerial record.

I'm a toon fan and whilst I don't mind Pardew, I wouldn't be devasated if he left. He's OK i guess, but just that. Can't really see us improving drastically under him and fighting our way back to the top 6 or 7 spots. Sometimes better the devil you know though as I don't know anyone out there who I'd rather have......unless Fergie wants a crack at it?

If he hereto leave, we'd end up with someone like Gus Poyet, Di matteo, or Martinez so no better tHan Pardew. Is the only reason we would want a new manager be because Sunderland got one though?
