So my purchase of two 5 woods hasn't gone so well. Golf bidder had the Cobra listed as stiff but it turned out to be regular. So they've sent a stiff out for Monday and are collecting the reg. The plan was to try both this and the Cleveland out today to choose which one I was to keep.

I did hit the Cleveland today and I'm very pleased I made the choice to go for a 5w over the 3h.

However, I did buy the 5w with two particular tee shots in mind, our 7th and 13th. On the four holes 1-6 today I hit the 5w and it went lovely, got the 7th and hit two oob!!

On the 13th I hit it left into the trees.

I got rid of mine for a rescue. But, going by the above, I think it's the guy swinging the club. What du think?

Which cleveland is it? I tried the cobra amp stuff, but I always find they spin too much and balloon up on me.

Cleveland Ultrlite. It's nice so far. I prefer the head shape of a 5w than a hybrid. The only thing about this club is that it has a gold shaft with a green and white grip which looks aweful. I'll have to change the grip to see if it tones it down a bit.

I've not tried the amp until the stiff arrives on Monday.
