5 reasons some don't get better at golf...

I no longer watch him, I find him ... well hes a fool. For some reason I was drawn to this video and its his best work. Liked the skits, liked the honesty about how he may be part of the problem, liked the content.

I am guilty of non of them now but maybe all of them at some point.

Edit: Maybe I can still stand on one spot and hit balls but I kinda know the score and am having fun.

In the vlogs he plays up and makes bad jokes and laughs too much at too little for some, bit of a marmite character because there are lots of people (youtube comments, twitter) that love them also.

In his recent informational video's he has come across really well, in this one especially.

can be guilty of number 4 and fight it most times I practise. would like to add number 6) you spend too much time injured or carrying an injury and number 7) destructive thought process for me :)

I've never been a big fan but that is an excellent video.
Had to laugh at number 2, all the guys who debate online about different shafts giving different flights, they're virtually identical.

Not practicing "playing golf", just practicing a golf swing.

Reading way too much info for their own good.

Great stuff.

Ha ha ha ha ha ha
How about number 2? :D

Watched the video last night and dont have speakers in the office... Is No 2 the shaft one? I am well aware of what a shaft can and cannot do and its effect on my game. I m not and have never really tried to buy a game, its far more like mid life crisis and not being afraid to spend some fun money on a hobby I love. But point taken :D

Don't think I am them.

Definitely not 1, 3,4 and 5. Sometimes wonder about 2 and new equipment, but as I am still playing with old clubs or wrongly never been for a fitting, not really 2 either but probably would like to.

I just like to bash the ball from one place to the next with a bit of a walk and laugh in between.

No. 8
The guy who makes 4 changes to his set up and 5 changes during his swing

It was recently that I started to question the social media and self-coach tinkering approach. I've always said that in 2014 I played my best golf trusting what I had an not questioning it.... I was easy playing to 7.

Something went slightly off and I went on a self fix mission which has me now playing closer to 20. I'm a strong believer that social media coaching is open to interpretation but like any medical condition the wrong prescription can definitely make the illness more serious

Oops I probably look like number 2 ... I am not far from it, I understand how my game has evolved I understand that there are aspects that need addressing. However I don't always feel the pro is the right person to sort it out.
