44 holes of windy golf !!!!

i must be mad , i played 44 holes today in windy conditions and i am goosed , i haven't been scoring well for the last month so i tried to just grind it out of my system , most problems have been from the tee and on the green , i am sure i have put the putting problem to bed now and my driving was better towards the end , lets hope this is going to be enough for my comp on Wednesday , and there is not much wind around on Wednesday so fingers crossed ..............

44 holes! I hope your course is nice and flat.

I love my golf but this could severly test my enjoyment-would have felt like a chore after 36 holes, regardless of how well I was playing.

all credit to you for grinding it out though in search of improving your game.

Way to much golf to get anything positive in my opinion. If it had been me I'd have had half an hour on the practice ground to warm up, played an 18 working on all the things that have been bugging me and then gone back to the practice ground and worked on what needed looking at.

I find that after 36 holes I'm just too tired to swing without having to concentrate very very hard on making sure my normal swing flaws don't creep in. If it had been me I wouldn't have got anything out of the 2nd round (and extra holes apart from aching feet and a sore back.

I don't think it is the best way of working through a bad period especially as you also said the weather wasn't grat. It is hard enough to play in the wind at the best of times. let alone on the back nine for the 2nd round and trying to work on the game.

Hope you prove me wrong and have a blinder in the competition but in my opinion not the way to prepare
