4 points in a stableford medal

Just got the results through via hdid for our stableford medal yesterday and to my disbelief a 18 handicapper rocked in with 4 points. One of the craziest scores I've ever seen especially as he has a shot each hole. Crazy. If its happened to anyone on here I apologise. To be fair the course was drenched which may have played a part .😳

Saw same scored in our mid week stableford on Tuesday! A 4 pointer and some 9's it was a beautiful day too! Shocking and I was gutted with 30! Winner only had 37!

strictly speaking you cannot NR in a stableford, so if you came off after a few holes, you would blob the rest and you may only score a few points.

You could run out of light, a thunderstorm that stops you going back you, injury, sickness or run out of clubs to hit the ball with as you've smashed them over your knee!

I like this idea of a stableford medal, you'll have to work on the rules but it sounds great!

Our works golf day last year there was a bloke that came in with 2 points!

Should have seen the smile on his face when he found out he wasn't last as someone came in with 1 point.
