Went to the range tonight with the idea of testing some 4 hybrids as the callaway xr I have is just too offset for me to consistently get on with.

AG didn't have much in stock but I got to hit the r 15, big Bertha and the new titleist 816 h1.

I won't bore you with the details except to say that the titliest is a dream to hit. A gorgeous soft draw shot after shot.

£200 is a bit toppy though.... maybe I should find a 2nd hand previous generation.

You could try the Wilson D200. I have one of these and have got on quite well with it, although I haven't tried any others to compare it to. A new one should be £100-£120.

I'm selling a 4 hybrid Adams that's cheap as chips at the moment and it goes great uses a similar technology as Titleist ARC channel. Have a look and let me know what you think

Thanks but I really need to have a hit.... tonight I hit clubs all with stiff shafts. The r 15 I couldn't feel where the head was. The Bertha only seemed good off the tee. My xr hooks or a big block. My nike vapor goes well but is heavy..... and then the titliest is just a dream.

What I'm getting at is that a lot if clubs are very similar. .... but some just don't suit me.

I have been a Titleist user nearly all my days, but never really got on with hybrids, having bought a 910h when they first came out. I have also suffered with my long game and have had 910f and 913fd fairways. A couple of weeks ago I was at Kingsacre for a 915f fitting as I had seen how well some of my friends were hitting them. Whilst there I was chatting with the fitter about the gap between fairway wood and irons and he gave me a 816h1 to try. What a revelation! The club is so easy and forgiving with a great flight and soft landing. Needless to say I now have a 915f and 810h1 in my bag.

There's an Adams for every purpose/person! Finding the right one can be a bit of pain though! I'm certainly happy with the set I have!

On the other hand, if the current one only looks nasty, but plays well, then don't change! My mate, who previously could not get on with hybrids, acquired a G20 that we all called 'the Fugly' - again, huge offset and bulbous toe! But he doesn't half hit it well!!

Well, I managed to find it via discountgolfstore for £185 inclusive of next day delivery.... not cheap but when it works, it works.

I'll soon have a XR 4 hybrid and an Adams DHY for sale!

tried out the 915H on the Titleist brand day earlier this year. Gentle draw shot after shot - even better than the 910H 21 and 24 degree clubs that I have in the bag. If you can find either at a good price, worth the investment! Make sure you know which shaft works for you.
