As you may remember my cap lapsed and I had to hand in 3 cards. Due to work commitments I couldn't play a bounce game so had handed in 2 medal rounds which were a nightmare. Tonight I played from the yellows and shot an 80 with a treble bogie at the par 3 tenth. But a par par birdie finish dragged it back.

So its time to sit and see what Big Bad Bob gives me ;)

After an 87 (11 pars and 4 nightmares),85,80 (treble).

Just for the record, rolled up in suit trousers and shirt, no drink, water for towel and I stopped cleaning my ball to keep the streak going. Golf is so unpredictable . . I love it.

According to HDID it was 11.2 but I haven't used it for almost 2 years.

If I understand it correctly, you sneaked in an 80 (gross) with a treble off yellows? Potentially, they could do you and put you off 8 or something.
Would you be happy with that? if so, we'll keep our finger's crossed. However, if you'd like to start back on 11.2 I think that would be justifiable as the 80 wasn't off whites.
My club gave me my h'cap from a card played off winter mats.
If I'd known what I'd know now (about the relative difficulty of the course off the different tees) I'd have fought that decision t.b.h.
Either way, keep us informed, we're routing for you. :)

Well done that man. That's more like it. You were never off 11.2 in your puff. Single figures looms methinks. Maybe play in shirt and tie more often, or a smoking jacket, PJ bottoms and slippers. Stylish.

well done mate, according to some on the forum you should maybe have a sombrero :D

Alec, even a blind squirrel finds nuts. I have played some good golf with the lads from on here but I will have to go some to get the sombrero off John Findlay. NOw there is a guy I will never play for a $.
