Listen up peeps, JJB in Edinburgh Kinnaird Park has Dunlop LoCo balls on sale for £8 for 24. Not sure about you guys in other areas but check it out.

Don’t laugh, these ball are not bad at all. I know, I’ve tested them and so has my mate who hits the ball miles and he’s off to get some toot sweet. They’re designed for slower swing speeds, I’m around 95 MPH, and they are not like a brick, in fact they feel soft. They don’t spin like a Pro v (lots of balls don’t spin like pro vees) although I do get some bite from them.

I used one on Monday night around Haddington golf course, parr 71. It was the first time in 15 odd years that I’ve played it and there have been a few changes in that time. Well, I took a bogie 5 at the last for a 1 over par 72. Not bad for a 6 handicapper around a 6400 yard course with a 33p ball.

All in all, this is the sale of the century at 33p a ball. Try them and don’t be embarrassed to say Dunlop. :o :o ;)

No, I dont work for JJB.

Hahaha, Are you being serious?

I find these all the time and whack em away. They should give these away in christmas crackers!

Almost broke my tooth on one testing how soft it was!

Each to there own though, too hard of a ball for me!

Its a deal,
its a steal,

love that film.

Nick the Greek: What else does it come with?
Tom: It comes with a gold-plated Rolls Royce, as long as you pay for it.
...
Nick the Greek: Dunno. Seems expensive.
Tom: Seems? Well, this seems to be a complete waste of my time. That, my friend, is 900 nicker in any store you're lucky enough to find one in. And you're haggling over 200 pound? What school of finance did you come from Nick?

"It's a deal, it's a steal, it's the Sale of the ******* Century!" In fact, [****] it Nick, I think I'll keep it!

Nick the Greek: Alright alright, keep your Alans on!
[pulls a massive wad of money out of his pocket]
Nick the Greek: Here's a ton.
Tom, Eddie: Jesus Christ!
Eddie: You could choke a dozen donkeys on that! And you're haggling over one hundred pound? What're you doing when you're not buying stereos Nick? Financing revolutions?
Nick the Greek: 100 pound is still 100 pound.
Tom: Not when the price is 200 pound it ain't! And certainly not when you've got Liberia's deficit in your skyrocket. Tighter than a duck's butt you are. Now come on, lemme feel the fiber of your fabric.

:D Lock Stock & 2 Smoking Barrels

just posted about these on an older thread.
i use these and i reckon they're fine.

high handicapper who loses a few a round, but honestly for the price you can't go wrong, can you??

Yes I'm being serious. Have you got the same Dunlop ball, has it got LoCo on it. The LoCo satnds for low compression and thats why it's softer. Softer than the Cal HX tours that I use some time.

I've used these in the past and my score was rubbish. But then my scores are always rubbish so can't blame it on a ball!!!

Wilf, superb, not watched it for a while, iwill have before the weekend is out.

I had the pleasure of winning a box of these balls - they where ok but not soft they where hard of the putter face thus hard to control on the green.

What ever floats your boat!

PS I PMSL at the Lock stock dialogue - will have to dig it out tomorrow for some entertainment.

Yes they are the same ones they do say LoCo on them.

I also have Donnay balls that say straight on them in my shag bag but I seem to slice them more than anything else.

I used the LoCo's to lob into a pond with my 60* It sounded like I batted a stone, felt like it too. For the money though, your right, they are a bargain.

I find the Cal HX tour's hard when putting. The LoCo is fairly soft in comparison when hit with the driver or irons.

Titleist tour prestige balls

I know this is £7 quid more but these are cracking balls and are as soft as 333's AND quite long off the driver, very good feel around the greens with the 7 iron or PW in hand. Used one yesterday for about 16 holes and was gutted when I put it in the jungle!

I also found this when I found one - but my playing partners told me I was daft. Sorry for the OT but -

The first Pro v I found was hard and I just did not like hitting it or putting with it. Everyone laughed and I was informed the Pro V was the best ball ever. For several months if I found one I would give it away. Then one day I was low on balls and decded to play one that I had found, it was delightful - when I went to the practice bag I found that the first Pro V was a refinished ball, this was the reason I hated it.
Then I realised I must of handed out a dozen to my mates - no wonder they where keen to get a game in .

Pro V's are the mutts nutts. But I loose em so I dont buy em!

Mate gave me a handfull of balls the other day, 3 prov1's 3 nike one blacks, A srixon Z-URS (best ball ive used so far) and a few tour prestige.

The Z-URS ball is just magnifico on the dance floor!

Am waiting for GM to switch to Prov's or Z-URS before I subscribe.

(whispers) Although thats not a bad offer from GP
