In the market for a quality, second-hand, 3-wood, mainly for fairway use, inland parkland course, variety of lies. Not bothered about age, quite happy to buy a 2009/2010 model if applicable.

Any recommendations?

I've got an rbz 3wood. None of that stage 2 nonsense. It's the best club in my bag. Works well off the tee and the ground. I'd recommend it to anyone and they are dirt cheap now too.

I have a Titleist 910 that I enjoyed using (and is for sale ;)), and also like my G25 which I hit about the same but have bag OCD hence the titleist had to go when I changed my other clubs.

Any of the one's I am selling…

Seriously though if you go back a few years you could get a X-Hot, RBZ Stage 2, G20, 910 etc and they are all good woods. You'll find loyal users for them all on here.

I use an 'original' RBZ which I love but I use it mainly for tee shots. I can use it from the fairway OK but a few folk I play with cannot launch it that well from the fairway or a bare lie.

As a Ping fan I balked at being given a second hand Mizuno F60 5 wood. A bit long in the tooth but I'm so impressed that I may swap my G20 3 wood for an F60. Lovely sound off the face too. Can be had very reasonably on flea bay.

Any of the Ping G range.
I have the G20 5w & it's so easy to hit from tee or fairway.
There's a couple of 3w's currently in the for sale section.
I was tempted by the Adams tight lies.

My suggestion would be a RBZ stage one or two HL 3 Wood

I have a mint condition SLDR in the for sale section just now, it's adjustable from 13.5 to 16.5 degrees.

I have a Taylormade vsteel 3 wood you can't have, but you can buy similar on the usual sites pretty cheap. They are really good imho.

Cleveland mashie's are great and massively overlooked, can be had for next to nowt on eBay in great nick and do everything well, distance and forgiveness off the tee or fairway. Mine is back in the bag now after a brief stint with the 913f and I definately prefer the mashie. 913 is available by the way if that's more your thing;)

Recommend a 4 wood too if your hitting off the fairway.

Picked up a ping G25 4 wood last weekend. Couldn't hit a fairway wood well at all before I bought it, went down the range this week and it's just so easy to get up in the air. Really recommend it, you could get a G20 one for a decent price on eBay and I doubt there's much difference between that and the newer models.
