I'm currently considering buying a 3 wood for the bag but before i consider buying new thought i'd see what anyone has their lookin rid of. No titleists please so forumers what have you fallen out of love with?
Ping G25 3 Wood with Tour Stiff Shaft or Bridgestone J40 3+ Wood with project X 6.0 shaft?
I have a Mizuno JPX800 3 wood that I need to put up for sale. Regular shaft.
How much u looking for the g25? How come your looking rid?
so which one of the above did you purchase?
None of the above darth. Borrowed my mates Rbz for a few rounds and loved it. Managed to get one off the club pro brand new for £80! Used it yesterday in a comp and it goes a mile. Had been looking an alternative off the tee.
I've been looking at the Rbz 3 wood too. Looking or wanting a 3 wood as the gap between my driver and hybrid/4 iron is pretty big. Just wanting a bit more yardage from the tee and from the fairway, I'm not a big hitter anyway but feel like a 3 wood may be want I need. Had a look on AG and for £100 I seem to have a fair few options. I play a natural draw (grrrrr) and like I say I aren't a long hitter, don't want stiff shaft either. Like the look of the G20 as I have the G15 draw driver and G10 hybrid.
If you hit a natural draw I'd be wary of the RBZ Stage 2. Took one out on course yesterday to try and was hitting everything well, but this thing is a hook machine. When I didn't hook it it was nice, high and long, but too many BIIIIIGGGG hooks to ever think about putting it in the bag. It sets up quite "shut" which I don't think helps, although I was trying to set it slightly more open at address.
Think I need an hour or so hitting a few different 3 woods to see which suits me. Looks like some decent choice's from what I've seen, cheers for the info.
