My new driving iron made a weird noise off the 1st when I played on Tuesday, just put it down to another crappy strike at the time.

On closer inspection, it seems that my 27mph swing speed was a little too much for it!!

Hope the replacement is here in time for Aberdeen trip

My 18* ZU45 arrived this week, took 10 days from ordering so with luck you will have a nice new one in the not too distant future.

I got it on eBay, so thought that I'd blown my money here. Turns out the person I got it from is the club fitter on the ladies tour, so they will get it off to Srixon for either a new head or completely new club

Ah, i've heard about these, the new prototypes westwood is trialing , heard he gets a lot of roll out from them
