Week ago, was 4 down on the 15th tee, and levelled it on the 18th green. Was almost dark. Came back the next day for play off, for the cheeky so and so to sink a long 'un for birdie on 1st hole.
Played in a comp a couple of years ago against a guy who was an alleged bandit at his place. After 8 he was two up and I was struggling big style. I was at the side of him after four shots and he had two. He went for a 120 yd shot to the green and put it in the only bunker. I put it 10 ft from the pin and holed it. We halved the hole. his head had gone. I was buzzing. Won the next five and won the match 2 and one I think it was.
Got to work the next day and the golf lads were buzzing that I had done him as no one wanted to play him. Lost the next round 5 and 4.
Those last nine holes I was a machine e game I won.
I came back from 4 down after 8 to win 2&1 last week, I think sometimes when you have a big lead it can lead to relaxing then you lose a couple of holes and panic sets in.
