Hi all, the time has come for my father to hand in 3 cards to get his first handicap. I'm just unsure of a couple things that may/may not affect this process. 2 of cards are from about 8 weeks ago, and one of the cards we had a temp green in play on the 2nd. Does this affect anything at all? Or is he good to just go ahead and hand them in? Thanks in advance, apologies for my distinct lack of knowlege

As long as the cards are properly signed and dated there should be no problem. One temp is not going to make a deal of difference. Get the cards in, get his handicap, and let him get into playing comps - the handicap will soon settle down.

I would have thought that your club would be the best place to ask, as they will be able to advise on any aspect of what is acceptable

Ok thanks, yeah will ask at club today to make sure. Just thought I'd get the heads up before I went up club and had to ask a stupid question lol. Thanks chaps

I wouldn't call it a stupid question at all, especially if it is his first handicap. I would expect clubs will get questions about this on a regular basis
