Have struggled in the past with fairway woods but I am wanting to put one back in the bag as striking the ball better than ever. Looking recommendations from everyone for easy to hit woods. Wouldn't like to spend more than £90/£100.

Thanks in advance.

I couldn't hit fairway woods for the life of me until I tried the Adams Tight Lies (the newish version). The three wood is 16 degrees so plays almost between a 3 and a 4 wood, and plays brilliantly off the fairway. It's not the longest, but it's really easy to use and is consistent - isn't getting consistent yardages what it's all about?

funny enough i have an Xhot 3 wood in the FSS;)

got a Xhot2 3 wood deep also in the classifieds, although I'm really after a swap ;)

Just got an x2hot pro 4w for 85 notes, brand new.
Can't go wrong with xhot or x2hot and well in budget.

I was tempted with yours Patrick until I saw it was either the deep version or 13.5°, can't remember which now.

I have a 13.5 3Deep and can't love it. Can't decide whether to get rid or take the shaft out to use in something else.

I also have the X2Hot 3 wood, and while it's good it's not as good as my X Hot 4 wood. Whether that's the difference between 3 wood and 4 wood, or the different models I don't know.

Personally I think it's the older shaft I prefer, which is why I've just taken a punt on an Optiforce.

Thanks for all the comments so far. Will have to go and try out the BB and the aeroburner and any others mentioned but if I could find an xhot 3 wood with same standard stiff as my driver Id be seriously tempted.

Just the standard not the deep, goes like a rocket, only reason i swapped is the X2 has a smaller head i i like as small a head as i can.

Good shaft the project x 6.0 that came in them as well

Mine is the Pro and has the project x 6.0 stiff that was standard

Any recommendations for the RBZ Stage 2 3 Wood been offered HL version at a good price, are they an easy 3 Wood to hit? Going to give it a go at the week end

Yes IMO they are a great fairway wood - judging by your sig you've already committed to it? I prefer them over the more recent SLDR, R15 & AeroBurner but that's just a personal thing. I actually have a couple of the RBZ Tour 3 Woods (1 for sale) and an Original RBZ!

I can only recommend the one I use and current longest serving member of the bag;

Adams Super LS. It is a MONSTER.

910 or 913 FD, slightly deeper face than the normal fairway wood, easy to hit from the deck or tee and for me gives a nice low spinning ball flight.

As others have said the G series of Ping are easy to hit but I found the G15 I had ballooned too much for me and was no use in the wind.
