2's sweep

I suppose it would depend on the rules from the club and it probably differs club to club but if you're taking it literally then a 1 isn't a 2 so doesn't count.

At our club a hole in one counts as two 2's in competitions. And, the club pays for the bottle of whatever as it is insured for these events.

Part of the money taken for our two's sweep goes into the hole in one pot. The last player to get a hole in one won £500. 2's are usually worth about £10-£15

That's the way I think it should be done. At our club you just get 2 lots of the 2's payout. 2's money comes in very handy though, Ive just got myself some Adicross shoes from Snainton with mine :D

So the club pays out for a 2 then you go and spend the money somewhere else?

Not quite cowboy so step down from that high horse of yours ;). Our Pro shop is supplied by Snainton, so I ordered shoes from Snainton via our Pro shop using the 2's money that was on my account.
Fair do's and I will climb down with the help of a step ladder

At our place a hole in one wins the whole pot.
Or, as happened earlier this year, it's split between the two players who each got holes in one.

This happened on one of the GM Centenary events a while back. Mike H was very clear....it's a two's comp so you get nothing for a one! Great decision (as I'd had a two) but much easier said when there's a table of other prizes to give away on the day though!Sure he was well rewarded :-)

Seen them count as a two, count as 2 twos and even scoop the whole pot which I think is really unfair but ultimately it's down to the organisers.

It's been 2 or better at all my clubs, so shares pot just like a 2.

2 on a Par 4 counts as well - got one of those my last comp at an old club.
