2nd Place at Kirkistown Open goes to ME :)

delighted to hear from some friends who are members down at kirkistown that i managed to bag 2nd prize out of the pretty large field on tuesdays open.

shot 37points which was good as the wind was up pretty badly as we went round. (38 pts won it)

i have counted 7 shots that were wasted despite that, so i trust that i truely will be able to get this handicap down come summer. Though Ill need it for the Glashedy course @Ballyliffin! but i would still prefer to turn up as a single figure guy than a 13hc with a chance at winning

bring on qualifying comps!!!

indeed, though i did win the last comp of the year and first of the year already at my home course. but its nice to be able to add this to my collection so soon after!

hopefully play well throughout the year, good luck to all you folks too and thanks for commenting, i know that there is nothing more boring than listening to someone blow their own trumpet, but big thanks for joining me with congratulations!
