The fact the we teed off behind 3 chaps 2 of which were in buggys is no excuse but it didnt help waiting on every shot, fortunately my partner had a word on the 6th and they let us through.
First nine I found every bunker and a lot of trees and carded a 64, worst nine i can remember since i was starting. Played a lot better the back nine for a 48, which is far more representative I think. So still online for 33 handicap. Next card round on tuesday.

indeed a better ack round should have you eager for tuesday, always nice to finish strong.

i hate playing behind slow groups too, concentration wanes and have to get back into focus when its time to play.

good luck for tuesday

Bad news about the front nine but good scoring once you got a decent pace going. At the end of the day 33 isn't the end of the world and you'll get down in time. Don't forget your learning the course too, especially the greens

Your back 9 shows you have the tallent.

I remember doing my 3 cards last year for my first ever h/c and 2 were absolute shockers and my 3rd was a blinder for me at the time.

Just go out and enjoy it.
