I hope this is in the correct section.

After the success at Woburn GC last week I am asking people to chose if they would prefer to play 27 holes or 36 holes, at next years event.

Price for 27 and 36 is minimal as the tee time is sold regardless of how many holes are completed.

I am happy to take on the organisation.

Please post a preference between 27 or 36 and a venue of your choice.

I will then try and get a day together

For me it would be 36 but I can see a few people would prefer 27 for medical reasons. [TABLE="width: 500"]

At Woburn, if I was playing 36 holes, I would want two rounds on the Marquess which is a fantastic golf course. The two D's are not courses I wish to play again really. I have played them both plenty of times and won prizes too but overall, consider them to be too tight to be a fair test, especially off the yellows.

If the Marquess x 2 is cost prohibitive then I would rather play one round on it then go to Aspley Guise for 18 holes after lunch or stay overnight and play there the next day.

You played there recently? must have a far higher opinion of Aspley Guise than I do :)

Me too. I love Aspley Guise but always think of it as Woburn on a smaller scale!

PS. Steve - played in the Wellingborough Mixed Open yesterday - course really is a cracker and clubhouse refurbished - very nice. Helped by the £130 in vouchers we won

Yes - I don't think it's amazing but I don't like the Dukes and Duchess courses at Woburn very much any more as the novelty has worn off and I find them too tight to be fair. Consequently, I would prefer to play at AG for a change and lower the cost of the trip. That said, 2 rounds on the Marquess would be perfect for me. I love that course.

Yeah I a felt bit stiff (my legs by the way) for a couple of days after Woburn but it was worth it so its 36 for me FT, Marquess as I have not played that one and the Dukes was my favourite out of the other two, though the Duchess is fantastic too.

Good job by the way Rob glad I was able to help out with a spare shirt after your trolley savagely stabbed you.

Great job Amanda, vwp :)

Will add Wellingborough back onto the to play list for next year (hopefully theyll try and run the mid-am event again)

36 with Marquess (as I've not played it) and one other (Dukes or Duchess) as each has it's plus points.:)

Edit: Not enamoured with the idea of moving off-site to another course as time to complete both rounds would be a big issue for me.
