Tiger has hit 5 in the water ... So that's 10 shots wasted on his own.

I don't personally like water hazards used excessively. They're brutally destructive sometimes for just for a "slightly" wayward shot and, too black and white punishment. I'd be peed off if I missed a green by a fraction from 200 yards away and dropped a shot! Just seems too harsh imo

Can't believe Tiger in this last round. Around 5 shots into crowds so far and not one shout. The guy needs to start respecting the people that pay the money to watch him.
Im with you, dont mind the occasional hazard but a course like this is a once a year comp, same as Augusta's greens, Pebble Beach's tiny greens, Scottsdale's grandstand par 3 hole etc ok in moderation.

I have to admit I am enjoying it.
Usually you get players begging for it to go in sand as they know they can play well out of bunkers even though they are meant to be a hazard. Its good to see players getting punished for bad shots, when they have tried to be too greedy.
However I am willing to admit that some run offs are very bare and when players have hit greens it has run off then gone into the water it has made it a little unfair.

A little unfair?
I know this is ment to be a hard course to play but it's amost got to a point where the only thing missing is a windmill or a selection of tubes to putt down to get near to the hole.
Too many balls that hit the greens ran into the water penalising good shots.
