Some great stuff in here. Been an incredible career, and even if he never returns and never wins another Tournament he has had an unbelievable career. Some of the interviews, especially the one with Curtis Strange are amazing. Strange came across terribly, trying to look like a tough guy with his "you'll learn" comment, but boy was he made to look stupid.

Just amazing what he did, his belief and ability in those early days was amazing.

Always seemed to sink that saving par putt from 8-10 that he needed to.

The Curtis Strange interview is plain awkward. He just sounds like some average joe asking questions rather than a proper interviewer.

It reminded me of posts on here about being interviewed for membership into the local golf club and being 'good enough to play our tour'

Hindsight is a wonderful thing though and despite the hype Tiger was only a few hours into being a Pro so Strange was maybe thinking 'just the latest prospect' and he might well cringe himself watching it now

Strange was clearly annoyed at Tigers Brashness but he himself was typical know it all brashness that a kid couldn't do what he did without experience.... Tiger really did revolutionise golf in his approach to the game which I think you see throughout the whole tour now.

Yes he's had a fantastic career, took the game to a new level and was exiting to watch.

But for me after he got the 5/6 people to move that large Boulder I could never take to him after that.

Craig Stadler?

BTW Curtis apologised to Tiger within the month for his comment AND Sandy Lyle's comment was better

What do you think of Tiger Woods?
Sandy responds, Never played it:D

Bet they are not showing Gary Wolstenholme beating him in the Walker Cup.

By the way to all of those on here who gave me some pretty fierce aggro about Tiger not overtaking Jack Nicklaus's record........I forgive you.;)

He was certainly been the player of this generation although his time has now passed (in my opinion) and that he'll not get close to Jack's record. Despite of everything that may have happened off the course he was a great role model on it for the up and coming youngsters getting into the game with what he did when he played and definitely took it to a new level

Watched The Tiger Woods Story on tv last night... not a good movie!

Poorly produced and directed, content was a bit naff compared to what could have been included, next to no golf either but I'll wager his mum & dad enjoyed it but generally the movie could've waited 15 years before being made

The 'actor's' portrayal of Monty was just weird (reckon he watched the adverts during an episode of Taggert to nail his Scottish accent)
