Were under way

All those lucky to be there, lets hear the up to the minute news of what's hot and what's not.

Any links to all the tee times and groups?

TV coverage not until 10am, poor show so lets keep it alive here.

Indeedios! Only thing I will say is that the internet signal when I was at Wentworth was terrible! So there might be some delays in anybody giving us updates.

Hopefully gonna get it on t'TV at work today.

I think Tom Lewis kicked it off at 07.20hrs, not 100% though.

The Ryder Cup hero's are following now with Martin Kaymer and Justin Rose at 8.15am along with Scotland’s Paul Lawrie, Rory McIlroy and Graeme McDowell getting ready now at 8.25am.

A quartet of lovely, shiny trophies on the first tee.

From left to right: The Claret Jug, owned currently by Wentworth stalwart Ernie Els, the Walker Cup, Rory McIlroy's Wannamaker Trophy from the US PGA and of course, the Samuel Ryder Trophy, captured so spectacularly by Ollie and the boys in the 'Miracle at Medinah'.

Great European Tour success across the world, on show at Wentworth this week...

We've just had the Championship’s first eagle from Englishman Oliver Fisher at the par five fourth

I have to say that I am surprised noone apart from Peter Uihlein bother themselves to come over for this one.

He hardly "comes over" is based fully on the European tour learning his trade (at least for now)

Think they need 2 or 3 tournaments together and probably a waiver on the way overseas stars are taxed to get the big americans over sadly

A few of the Americans do have exemptions that were not taken up, I just find that a little disappointing, wont lose any sleep over it mind. :)

Our assistant pro, Gareth Wright, has qualified for this. He's out at 15.10.

If he makes the cut, that would be immense!

excellent, rooting for the underdog, forget the cash its the prestige and experience he will glean from this flagship event- there's many a club pro would pay to play in this:smirk:

I thought Jamie Elson had qualified but can't see him listed so my local follower will now be Andy Sullivan.
