With the new AD333 Srixon have got a winner again. Cheap 2piece balls that perform well are the staple diet of many golfers in the UK.

The Bright White cover really stands out and the ball now feels closer to the Z-Star that it borrows its Spin Skin cover from. It's a worthy upgrade, providing better feel on greenside wedges and putter, whilst still a little harsher on full shots than the Z-Star. The AD333 scuffs up in bunker, showing nicks and scraps just like a Z-Star would under similar shot conditions. I didn't see the improved wind performance, basically a poorly struck shot will still go left/right and a ballooned ball will still orbit the planet before returning to the ground 20 yards short of its intended target. The distances for me were unchanged to my usual premium selection of balls.

Those wanting ultimate spin figures should keep to the premium ball market but I think this ball might stay in the bag well into the spring and beyond, unless the summer greens are rock hard and burnt out again when I will no doubt succumb to the performance advantages that the premium ranges provide.
