2010 Grove Specs for Irons.

If you saw my other post you would notice that I am in the process of joining a golf club.

So to plan a few weeks ahead I have checked all my equipment on the R&A site and my 6 iron and 8 iron says the following :

Does this mean that I cant use the above clubs in a competition?

The rule change for amateurs (apart from elite) doesn't come into effect until 2024 so no problem.

Unless you get down to a plus handicap before then

At least the Grooves one doesn't!

However, the OP's R580 Driver might not be conforming - and that came in in 2008 (from memory)!

How many 'rings' of score lines does the Driver have on the face? 1 or 2? If it has 2 rings, it will be conforming. If only 1, then it's non-conforming!

There is a list of non conforming drivers/ clubs on the R and A web site .

That's a non-conforming one!
