After a bit of help,
currently use a cobra amp 3-4 hybrid and 4-5 hybrid and i use them both well, they are both regular flex,
Im trying to get the same version in a 2-3 loft as i feel the 2 hybrid will be a great option off the tee.
i can only find it in stiff rather than regular?
Will i find this harder to hit??

Depends on your swing speed really, I dont get any more out of a 17/18 hybrid than I do from a 21 hybrid, and I play reg shafts.
I tried loads of them but settled on a 5 wood eventually as I got more from it, I moved onto a 4 wood after that and find this gives me more options.
If it's distance your after a fairway is your friend, but don't be afraid to try a lower lofted hybrid as one man's poison as they say

You need to think carefully about the shaft flex as stiff may make getting the ball to flight normally harder. Too stiff usually results in a lower trajectory and a miss to the right when you're not swinging perfectly. This is a generalization however (we're all different), and you need to try one to be sure. Bide your time and look for a regular would be my first thought - love the look of the Amps although never hit one.

Bought one around 6 weeks ago and love it. Hits the ball pretty low but is great for driving off on 350-400yd par 4's and windy conditions which is what I was after (can't hit a 2-iron anymore due to arthritic joints in my hands).

Spear-Chucker is pretty much spot on, though I'm not totally convinced that flex has too noticeable an effect. From 90mph Driver speed, I'm on the cusp of R and S and the X-Flex 18* doesn't feel/act too different from what I'd expect from an S Flex!

The flight will be a touch lower, but that will likely (imo) be down to the loft more than the shaft. Especially as Winter creeps up, I doubt whether a 2H will give you any more distance than a 3H would/does. If the clubs are adjustable, I'd suggest you do a bit of checking/calibration with your current 3H!

As always an interesting twist there Foxy.

I dug an old (TM R11 TP the white squared one) 3h out in the spring and dialed it down to 16.5 degrees - which gave me exactly what I was looking for; low launch low trajectory.

So I now have a 12 degree driver, 16 SLDR Mini, 16.5h (with a strong 3h length shaft), 18 degree 5 wood and 22 degree h with 5i-

They have all stayed in the bag through most conditions and courses this season and I find it really constructive to have such fine choices over shots with any degree of challenge ie they all have their individual quirks (in my hands) and I can stand over the ball with an extra degree of confidence when trouble looms!

People do need to establish what works for them though - what works for me is unlikely to deliver to everyone.
