2 hrs for 9 holes, 1434 yds, got to be a record

Got to my local 9 holer 1434yds at 12 hoping the course would be empty, no such luck. 4 pairs in front of me all getting held up by a 5 ball, a good mix of kids, coffin dodgers and fatties and judging by the distances they were getting I would guess they were all using putters.
2 pairs called it a day after 4 holes, 1 bloke asked if they could play through but no joy. After there first round they were going around again.
I did report them and I was not the first to do so, at least I got to have plenty of practice putting on each green and I shot my lowest score aswell

You forgot to mention tarts... So I can only assume they were at home slaving away at a hot stove!
