so I have been quiet about golf as not been able to swing a club for a few weeks. Been up the range twice this week with no after effects so all good. (swinging quite nicely aswell must be the easier swing I am using)

Playing a friendly 18 tomorrow for 1st time in 2 months. I am feeling uber excitied to be able to get out on the course, don't know as its only my home course.

1st time out with the new bag of clubs as a complete set aswell.... it might be a bit hit and miss but who cares!!!!

weather forecast is not too bad either so happy days

Have a good un this weekend folks:cool:

Take your time and don't smash too many 300+ drives.

I know it's below the forum average but best to ease yourself back in.

Best of luck G-Man. Hope you score well.

My first round with the 63's tomorrow, should be interesting!

I was looking at the wedges you bought online last night (fancying a 52/58 setup), I know I said no changes but they look da bomb

If I feel any twinges the driver will stay put in the bag :)

Not that I would encourage you onto a well known auction site but is your PW 47 degrees?

(plants the seed, retreats into the distance)

Good luck Gibbo, got my first round since Christmas this weekend but thats due to weather.

Hope the back holds out and if the driver stays in the bag I guess you'll have to settle for a forum average of 270yard 3 woods.

Those wedges do look nice!

Let that 910 do its work and you will just need a wedge...

it is indeed 47 so possibly going 52/58 instead... no seeds needed sowing :D

Thought as much :)

Enjoy the round, often find the first round back after a long lay-off is quite good. Then expectations are up for the 2nd and... Have fun!

well that was a mish mash :)

95 so over handicap but that included 1 quadruple (2 ob's off the tee on a par 3) and 2 triples (ob on each off the tee and one I also hit straight into a bush so unplayable drop boohoo), 5 pars though so there was some decent stuff aswell. Not 1 3 putt with the scotty so its a keeper.

After just over 2 months without a round and only a couple of light range sessions I am quite happy overall, especially as 4 ob's killed me (slice off the tee and 1 huge hook), the rest was not too shabby.

Hope everyone else had a decent round today

Bet it was good to be out playing again not real surprise a bit of rustiness from a lay off especially after injury.
Hope it all comes back good and proper soon!

Ps those mizzy wedges do like the business!

shhhhh. I actually didnt feel like I needed a bigger gw. The combo was spot on especially around the greens. Gonna hit the rangge this week but think I need to get a lesson in the next month and start putting in some proper effort. Got to get sub 20 h/c this year!

it wont be happening OS! mucho skinto and holidays etc to pay for. If I can't do a particular shot with my current wedges then I will just do one that I can :)
