1st Golf Handicap

Put all my 3 cards in togethor last week,all poor scores so expected to get a 28 handicap.I have got a 26 handicap so I am well pleased.
Now I feel like golf is properly 'starting' for me.

they probably took the best adjusted score (thats how mine was done, highest score on a hole is dbl bogey)

i've just got mine, 24, played my first medal and was no where near playing to it, so i think it will take a few rounds to settle down.

yeah I knew about the double bogey situation....24....well done.....I might 'only' be 26 to start but I got such a buzz when I saw it on the noticeboard

i.i.r.c. I got 24 (and expected 28) and in the early days it was tough, but it'll come together.

what also makes me feel good is that my 3 cards where all within 2 shots of each other BUT some 10 shots behind my PB at the course ive just joined

last thing I wanted was a 28, because nobody knows if its really 28 or nearer 40,

Now all we have to do is get them down further
