1st Game With Fellow Forummer Accomplished!!!

Just wanted to say that I had my 1st meet up and game with a fellow forummer today.

Played with querty..

We had a great game in what was largely a sunny day,Querty played in a T Shirt all the way round.I highly recommend him to other forummers as a person and is a handy golfer off 7 handicap as well

I guess this is what this forum is all about really,meeting new people and enjoying a round.

As the forum has grown, especially in the last few months, it's great to meet up with others on here and put names to faces. I suspect that they'll be a few others joining in when the forum features more prominately in the mag.

I got to meet another two faces on Saturday in Leftie and Medwayjon although I di feel like i had already known them for ages with their wit and repartee on here. Thoroughly decent and upstanding gents too (an real men wear pink don't they Jon!)

If I ever play golf with Homer, wear manly colours, you know, black, blue, brown, (and according to T.Wogan, even beige is ok at my age)

I did enjoy it!

Im so busy setting up my business while still doing my full time job till the end of March that I hadnt played for over a week.

So it was nice to just get out there and play,the greens were a lot better but you cant expect to hole many putts still.

Had a few putts dropped I could have gone really low today after hitting 15 GIR and having a bogey free round.

I've come close myself a couple of times, but i've never played with anyone who has shot under par before.
I can recommend to all fellow forummers having a game with Alchemy.
It was a pleasure to watch someone strike the ball so well, with such consistency.

15 GIR, a Bogey free round and you havent played for a week!!!

That is quite a tidy round of golf, maybe one day in the very distent future I will be able to say that.

I have my first round with a fellow forummer next week and hope to hit at least one GIR!
