1st game in a fortnight.

Played 9 holes this evening, 1st time I've played for 2 weeks. They say a break will do you good - and so it proved.

New big stick to try out and hit it reasonably well, 9 holes in 1 over, 8 pars with a bogey on the 564 yard par 5 7th after finding the rough off the tee.

Playing tomorrow at 10 past 9, card in hand will I score as well ?? time will tell but pretty confident at the moment

am playing 2mo aswell i have been off work last 3 weeks and been playing golf solid and i am playing well just waiting for a break to preform well.

Well certainly my best score with a card in hand this season, however it comes with a bitter sweet taste. 79 nett 71 is easily my lowest score however I'm still very dissapointed. Card had only 1 birdie and 5 sixes, 4 of which were double bogeys. Left 5 putts on the lip of the cup and holed nothing over 8 feet.

Hopefully this is the sign of things to come, just need to sort out the putting and cut out schoolboy errors and hopefully the handicap will start going in the right direction. Onwards and upwards as they say
