Id have been happy to break even lol, last one cost me a fortune, though not as much as my old man when his Mrs had one on a big charity day and the clubhouse was rammed.

I may have the wrong one but wasn't that Jason Bohn of the Uspga tour, he did it at college as a +2 handicapper (or similar)
Ironically they reakon it damaged his early golfing career as he missed out on competetive collage golf as he had to turn pro to accept it

He did it about 10yrs ago I think and took $50K per year for 20 years. From what I gather he went off the rails a bit as he suddenly didn't need to worry about anything but has gotten pretty good at the game since with at least one USPGA victory.
