Morning all,
I played Seacroft a couple of weeks ago, and the next day I realised I'd been bitten by insects (18 times )
I was put on antibiotics and advised to use Piriton etc.
I've got a few games lined up over the next few weeks, including this weekend at Woodhall Spa.
So what I was wondering is what advice do you have to avoid getting bitten again and to remedy it if it happens again?
Any particular insect repellent, for example ?

Cheers

"Ben's Insect Repellent 100 Safari Strength" is what I use. I've Travelled through Vietnam, Cambodia and Thailand with this stuff and been bite free.

Anything with DEET in it works well even if a bit whiffy when first applied. I had a few really bad bites early in the year and our course is full of beasties as there's lots of still water. I also carry a tube of 1% hydrocortisone bite and insect cream and apply it as soon as I get bitten (then reapply the repellant with DEET)...
