and three triples to ruin it!

Played in a medal today. Worried about my ribs after damaging them two weeks ago. Hooked out of bounds off the first tee and made a triple. Then managed 10 pars and 5 bogies, but threw in 2 more triples along the way (1 in the water, two duffed chips from poor lie). Ended up two over handicap with three triples, and well pleased with the way I hit the new G15's, straight and long for the vast majority. Hopefully they are now fully bedded in for 36 at Royal North Devon next week. And the ribs are aching but undamaged!

What stroke index were the 3 holes you tripled? If they were stroke 14-18 you'll be under your handicap and get a cut.

1, 7 and 12 They should all have been bogies, which would have got me to my category 2 goal for the season!

You disappoint me. I was hoping for a thread with pictures of an illegal "bag" full of 15 shiny sticks.

Anyhow, bad luck on the triples. I had one back in June and it nearly spoiled my steak and ale pie (with a pint) followed by sticky toffee pudding....just after I won 4+2 over an "all-the-gear" bloke playing in the local derby.

Such a shame, it could had been 5+3...
