13 degree 3 wood. who plays one?

I had one and binned it. Found it too difficult off the fairway at my place. It was almost as long as my driver though off the tee (the odd time it went well  ) but too inconsistent for me.

I use one, really like it. It's a 910 f 13.5 deg, it has a nice shallow head and is as easy to hit from the fairway as my 17 deg.

I use it on certain holes at my place when I'm struggling with my driver, its normally about 20 yards or there abouts shorter.

You can obviously play a bit (3w 240yd). I would go for a driver fit and solve your driver issues. You would not gain that much on your current 3w, take your driver out your left with a 1.5 deg difference, take your 3w out your left with a more difficult club to use of the deck.

I played with a 13* rather than a 15* on links courses - where the fairways were pretty hard and the wind was certainly a factor. still used Driver, but the 'Spoon' worked well off several tees.

On Parkland courses, I don't believe there is any benefit for mny/most, except from familiarity, as the overall distance is likely to be quite similar. In fact for most players, a 4-wood is likely to be the longest FW.

I use a 13.5 G15 driver as a strong 3 wood (I also carry a 10.5 G20 driver). I don't hit it off the turf, I use my 5 wood for that. As I found the extra distance I got from my old 3 wood off the deck was minimal over my 5 wood, I decided it wasn't worth the risk hitting 3 over 5. If I was only going to hit 3 wood off the tee I may as well have a 3 wood lofted driver and take advantage of the much bigger head. It works really well and I am surprised more people don't do it and very surprised more manufacturers don't make big headed 3 woods. When I tentatively suggested to a pro I was considering this, he said that most fittings at Ping now recommend a 12 degree driver anyway.
