Had the pleasure of being at the range for 12hrs yesterday with Gibbo....
He said that he wanted to start from scratch and didn't just want to patch up his swing. We talked about impact, the grip, the posture, the backswing, spine tilt, hip bump, hands forward, shoulder rotation, lots of things actually....
then he got the shanks.
He hit 400 balls with a combination of shanks, fats and the occasional good one. The frustration must have been huge for him but he kept going and kept going, a proper hero.
On the way home he probably thought he didn't get much out of his day.... I know it must've been hard for him so I thought I'd post just this one pic for him..... so he could see WHY he was having such a struggle...... I'm sure most of us would struggle making this much change...

You did great Gibbo. Not many people could get the club head on the ball when you do this to their set up I hope you take some of the things with you, even if you go back to you're 'normal' way of swinging I expect you'll incorporate some little changes here and there. :thup:
