122 gross - with a hole in 1!!

Senior Championships at my old club yesterday......one guy scored 122 off 18 handicap which included an 11, 13 and a 16..... No pars, but a Hole in one at the 17th.

What's the worst score you've ever heard of with a hole in one included?

That's golf isn't it? Doesn't matter how bad you play, there's always that one shot that brings you back!

122.... Did he end the day a happy man? 122 off 18 is rough!
 
I played with a 3 handicapper at Royal Dornoch 2 years ago who had a hole in one at 10th and shot 95. Said it was the best 95 he had ever scores;)
 
All I can say is well done to that man. However, it still breaks my heart, been golfing for 27 years (at least 10 at cat 1) and still waiting for my first HIO. I have never even been in a group where a HIO has been scored. I must be some kind of jinx. :)

I've never had one either but have played a medal with someone who got one and, annoyingly, a scratch match against someone who got one....

The former was great, cheers and high fives, the latter.... muted congratulations through gritted teeth! :D
 
When I got my one and only hole in one at Moortown I went round in something like 108. To be honest I'd kind of given up and was playing for a bit of practice when I got it.
 
I'm quite happy that I have had four since last April :D
