My bushnell rangefinder is bust, under guarantee, so I email 118 to ask what to do... TWO DAYS LATER I get an email back saying "fill in this attached returns form and send it back to us"... only they forgot to attach the bloody form. So I send another email - another 2 days and still no reply! GRR! So bloody frustrating!

They don't have a phone number either. I just want my rangefinder repaired, I don't want to have to wait weeks!

I even posted on their facebook page (along with someone else who had problems getting contact from them) - which got deleted, so I've just posted on there again!

Its the last time I order from them... I don't think I'll trust another company that just has an email address for contact. :mad:

a lesson learned but hopefully a help for someone else, if theres no phone number (if there is call it first and gauge the response) then dont buy from them, simple
 
I spent a while tracking down an order with them that took ages to arrive. Not used them since either. Good customer service goes a long way in keeping customers loyal!
 
I'd email Bushnell and explain the situation. their customer service is first class and i bet they won't like to hear one of their stockists is useless. From past experience i wouldn't be surprised if they offered to sort it for you
 
I've no problem if I'm told when the order is placed its out of stock. I know where I am and can either cancel and by elsewhere or wait. However 118 golf seem to hardly have anything in stock and usually go to the manufacturer once an order is placed. Shocking customer service and definitely on my blacklist

Had a load of trouble with them a couple of years ago, had an electric cart which broke after a couple of months and they refused to help me. But lucky for me, I know where they are based, Windlesham Golf club in Surrey. So I went down there with my trolley, walked into the pro shop and demanded to see someone. After 15 minutes some young bloke turned up, got right in his face and told him I wasnt leaving until he either fixed my trolley or gave me a new one. After 20 minutes of argueing and the poor bloke running upstairs to consult with his bosses, they agreed to get my trolley fixed. It did take 6 weeks and 20 odd phone calls to get it back from them though.

My advice, go direct to the UK distributer, Brand Fusion who distribute Sun Mountain products were fantastic. Called them up a couple of times afterwards when I was having problems and they posted me new batteries and even a new motor for the cart at no charge, brilliant ;)
