British piccalilli contains various vegetables— invariably cauliflower and vegetable marrow —and seasonings of mustard and turmeric. It is similar to a sweet pickle such as Branston Pickle except that it is tangier and less sweet, coloured bright yellow (using turmeric) rather than brown, the chunks are larger, and it is usually used to accompany a dish on a plate rather than as a bread spread. It is popular as a relish with cold meats such as ham and brawn, and with a Ploughman's Lunch. It is produced both commercially and domestically - the latter product being a traditional mainstay of Women's Institute and farmhouse product stalls. In Flanders, Belgium, piccalilli (or "pickles" as the relish is called in Dutch), is mostly eaten on fries.

Liversausage on brown, McCoys beef crisps, orange squash.

Not keen on pickle. Don't do the whole sweet/sour thing.

Nearest I get is periperi. I like it hot.

Victor - do yourself a favour and don't keep registering on here under different names and trying to flog the website. No one is interested. Take a hint and try another site like Today's Golfer. You are only making yourself look foolish popping up under different names (superquad etc). The site isn't very good and fromt he repsonses you have had no-one really cares about it. Time to move on

Just got home and read this thread about the driver........

Just one question?

When making Spaghetti Carbonara can I use garlic granuals as opposed to a clove of garlic??

Will it have the same taste?
