£40 for an umbrella?!

REAAAAAAALLLY?? :/ Im a pretty skint golfer but im after a big 64"ish double canopy to take the sideways rain and howling winds that the scottish summer kindly provides is there an unbranded company that makes the same kind of thing?

I bought a John Letters one from their shop in St Andrews last year, Direct Golf also sell them for £20 and it is as good as any of the big brands. They also have a few cheaper ones on the website as well.

Seems to be plenty available, £10 for cheap n cheerful, £15-20 for good quality and £30-£40 for rip off merchants

Slight aside, it never ceases to amaze me how manufactures of quality golf clubs think they can rip off their customers when supplying branded apparel that they don't even make themselves
