Had a lesson today and the pro pointed out some of the little things I was doing wrong ( standing too far away and not lining up correctly ) and then out for a round for the first time in 6 or 7 weeks. Once I got the first hole out of the way I started to play really well and was about 10 under...
Not a golf club, but my bowling club had a rule about covering certain "religious" tattoos that one of the old boys got round by telling the committee his tattoo of King Billy on his white horse was actually Sir Gordon Richards. Only worked because it was summer and the white horse was brown.
Been playing well recently and starting to feel it was all coming together then I played in a medal today and if I said I was rank rotten I would be being far too kind to myself. Quite windy but even at that it's annoying. Even managed a couple of shanks. Stupid game.
I play on a Braid course (Hayston) and he seems to have put all the bunkers and trees in the wrong places, probably motivated by malice towards me personally;), great course to play.
I've got it as well, probably caught it at work because there are a load of cases at the moment. I deliver bread to shops and masks and social distancing have disappeared in the last month or so, even in the large supermarkets.
