Utd have one attacking centre midfielder. Bruno. Potentially DeBeek, but he has not proved himself in PL yet. Bruno was awful last season. So, he needs both support and competition in that area. I am positive it was not Eriksen OR a defensive midfielder. We need to bring in a lot more quality...

Just seen on BBC that Eriksen has agreed in princple to sign for Man Utd, subject to agreeing personal terms. It would be a signing I'd like to see. Quality and composed player in the middle of the park, who can hopefully work well with Bruno, and/or keep Bruno on his toes in keeping a starting...

I'm hoping, at best, he is another Lukaku. But I can imagine he'll thrive in a team as good as City, if he stays fit. No idea about his injury record. If I had to take a gamble on one of 2 players, him or Kane, I'd always choose Kane. But, at least we'll see how Haaland gets on in the PL this...

I know how CR is calculated (in that length is the significant part of its calculation), and never said it needs to be accounted for twice. And, if CR-Par was included within the course handicap calculation, it is not double counted. Other countries do it just fine. Stableford or medal play...

My money is on Haaland being best signing of the summer so far. By a long way.

That is awful. I wonder how much money it took to keep him?

I appreciate par has nothing to do with handicapping (except for nett double bogey adjustments), and Course Rating is key. However, to simply say "Par has virtually nothing to do with difficulty" can cause misunderstanding. Length of a hole almost certainly factors into difficulty, thus it is...

There is no doubt she'd sign up to LIV in a heartbeat if she was asked. They'd even pay for her own chauffer

I won't tell you that. I've no doubt ten Hag was looking ahead as best he can. Playing fantasy football manager just like the rest of us. It is no doubt why he has at least been able to identify an early target like de Jong, and therefore United have been pursuing him. Again, that doesn't mean...

I'm not overly convinced by that argument. What big players are we talking about? Have United approached them, and are they stalling because the player is waiting for Man City or Liverpool to pick up the phone? Teams that have pretty settled squads, and even if they were interested in a player...

It could be simply that Manchester United are pretty inefficient when it comes to making signings. They certainly haven't proved otherwise. However, it could also be due to the fact United have just appointed a new manager. I'm sure there was dialogue as soon as they agreed he would come to Man...

As rulefan said, internal out of bounds is often necessary. At my last course, we had a dog leg par 4 that was about 440 yards. If there was no internal out of bounds, players could easily just play down the left of the hole, which would not only shorten it significantly, but also bring in less...

But, maybe this is the start of something in golf, where it will change into 2 very different sports in many years time :) . Golf Union and Golf League. One will be the game as we know it now. Another might look very different.

I'm not sure if this thread is fascinating, or the exact opposite of fascinating. I'd expect a whole bunch of new comments any time a new player signs up to LIV, or another LIV event is played. However, this thread just seems to steamroll ahead with comments, even when nothing is actually...

I think it is 9 won in 22, assuming Patrick Reed has confirmed he is going to LIV? Or 10 in 24 (if DJ's win at the US Open in 2016 is counted). Which were: Dustin Johnson (World Number 17) Brooks Koepka x4 (World Number 19) Bryson DeChambeau (World Number 31) Patrick Reed (World Number 39)...

I genuinely wouldn't be surprised if he was signed up by the LIV Tour. One of their gimmicks may be a pro-AM type scenario, but just paying high profile celebrities who are half decent at golf, huge sums of money to play. Maybe they wouldn't even need to be decent, I'm sure they would happily...
