Just another example of our descending into another dark age.
If humanity lasts another 1000 years, we may have another renaissance.
Those of us here now, however, are pretty much screwed.
They're really upright in standard lie angle.
Did you have to flatten them?
Looks like a very useful design for recreational players --not bad at all for mid handicap players--
but I don't think that I'll ever get used to those modern strong lofts.
They make the resulting set configuration...
I prefer GPS for the convenience, and also the far lesser likelihood of leaving my watch out on the course.
I suspect laser is more accurate, but I'm not so why would it matter?
I'm surprised that Brits would prefer laser when your courses have so many more blind shots than ours do.
Isn't...
Exactly how detached are UK players from the people with whom they're playing?
How is it possible for players from the same group to hit from the wrong tees?

Except for my fifteen clubs, I'm easily one of the more conforming / compliant ones.
How is it...
I'm totally happy with my club with even the dues being reasonable, especially for what we get.
As a weekday morning player almost exclusively, however,
I don't run into problems that weekend or later afternoon players may.
Without wandering into untoward topics, I, as an American, very much prefer the UK on certain social issues.
In terms of creature comforts, I still believe we have the edge.
Well, I've already worn poppies on Decoration Day.
4th of July commemorates missing out on the NHS and playing football without wearing armor.
As for Thanksgiving, I've eaten enough turkey for a lifetime.
Plus, America would still be here as a holiday destination if we were so inclined.
I'm accustomed to car commutes,
but I imagine parking accommodations might be a problem near my residence building.
The older buildings wouldn't have underground parking built in, right?
Also, the different driving protocols would probably be hard to learn at an older age.
I never dared try...
