We have a Pro Advanced net as we needed something we could easily put up and down. The garden is not very big, and this time of year the pool is out and the net is stored away.

No that cheap - however it is very well made and really does pop up and down as easily...
Best of luck with your venture.
As a few thoughts to add
1 - Many of the players on golf forums (no offence!) are not your best target audience. You need to get in with some up and coming players on the amateur / Euro tour - these are the people who may well see serious implications in...
Welcome to the dark side
I've always liked the look of Ping's. Not so much the Zing, but they hit OK. I even went from Eye 2's to Wilson Staff FG17's. I went back to Ping Eye 2+ in 1992 (I think). FG17's were as unforgiving as an angry wife!
I was lucky enough to get G25's for my...
4 ball on Sunday consisting of myself, my 2 kids playing off 54 and a work colleague playing of 24. We tee'd off at 1404, were off the 18th green at 1840, clubs away, shoes changed and sat having a drink at the bar by 1900.
We actually spent quite a few holes right up behind a 2 ball! :angry...

Sorry to hear it Jon - I've done a few all-nighters over the years due to failed backup catalogs and CRC errors. I have a hatred for tape backups!
Hope you get it sorted and get home soon.
I bought a dozen 2012 E5's and E6's. Really impressed with them so far. E6's feel good around the green, but can scuff up easily if your wedge has new grooves. They may well reduce spin, but I've still managed to pull off some slices, albeit they are less severe. That could be me though as...
Cold balls won't help - best keep them warm guys.
Sharpie pen all the way. Cheap, reliable, accessible & reusable. A few dots or a line, some initials & the ball's all yours.
Played Newcastle-under-Lyme last September where the longest club I hit reasonably straight was my 4 iron. That was 6395 long, long yards that day.
I've also played my local 9 hole municipal a few times with just a 3i, 5i, 7i, 9i, Wedge and putter in a pencil bag. Also done it with the even...
It's all about personal choice, if you feel a new ball or a particular brand gives you more confidence off the tee, around the green or both, then stick with it.
I've played with almost anything remotely resembling a golf ball, but recently spent a few hours around the practice green with a few...
