I bought one a couple of months ago and am delighted with it. Smooth, solid, lightweight, does exactly what the website claims, make sure you get the umbrella mount with it and fork out the tenner for the drawstring bag. You can also pull this trolley as well as push it by the way, which no-one...
What do you guys think about Prior? He's certainly batting well most of the time (so long as they bowl short and wide at him at any rate!!) but his keeping isn't up to snuff at international level for my money. Mind you, I grew up in the era of Jim Parks, Alan Knott and Jack Russell - Prior...
I recently bought a Sureshot 8800 and I'm very impressed so far. Partners who were a bit dismissive at first are now sidling up and asking for their yardages. (Of course, I add 10 yards ;)). Recommend you have a look at one before committing to anything else. Decent price at Nevada Bobs too £170.
I'm a Footjoy fan, although just bought some Ecco's and they're very comfortable straight out of the box. I did once see some summer weight shoes by Duca del Cosma which looked as comfortable as a pair of slippers but I didn't have the courage to buy them at the time and I haven't seen them...
I'm in the "stand off to one side" when others are putting but if its same line as mine, then I'll always try to have a look at the last few feet where people stand and tend!
Would never stand behind an opponent, seems like cheating and must be a distraction for them as well.
Cernunnos, I would echo your positive remarks about Celtic Manor. 3 great courses, 2010 is awesome yet more and more scary as the holes unwind. Started really well with a couple of bogeys, but as you rightly say, it starts to sting you after a few holes. Water comes into play, and it begins to...
I've only been playing just over 2 years and my advice would be to speak to your local Club pro and ask their advice, then stick to that ball for at least a year. In that way, you'll start to develop feel, especially around the green. My personal preference: Srixon AD333, good value too!
Does anyone know the answer to this mystery? I have just begun playing the game and have no money for lessons, since I spent it all on equipment (foolish boy!) However, I have played several rounds and have amassed points which I have used to increase my "attributes" and unlock lessons. However...
I play one round a week and I reckon for summer wear you would have to go a long way to beat the Golf Athletic range. They feel like bowling shoes, light, low profile and comfortable. Only two colours in the range though.
I have also coveted for at least a year a pair of Duca di Cosma golf...
Thanks for this TEH. But, does that not drive you mad not being able to read breaks on putts. I don't want to hit two great shots then 4 putt, I don't need reality, I get that on Saturdays! :)
I'm new to the forum. I am seeking advice on which golf game for the PC to buy, to while away those hours on aircraft etc. Hear that EA's Tiger Woods games are not great, loads of weaknesses, I did play Links many years ago and wasn't that impressed. Anybody got any good experiences of other games?
